Burg Eltz Medieval Castle, Wierschem
About
Many people have said this is the epitome of a medieval knights castle. First mentioned in texts dating from the 12th century, the castle has a rich and fascinating history. Until today I had only seen a few photos online and hadn't noticed how beautiful it is. I think it's definitely the best castle I have ever seen!
For €14 I got to take part in a guided tour through some of the rooms and there was also a small treasury/armour museum included.
