John Cooper Clarke at Leicester Comedy Festival

Last night I was treated to an evening with famous Salford Poet John Cooper Clarke in Leicester. The tickets were part of a Christmas present from my sister. As it usually goes with these type of events, it was a complete sell out and very busy inside. Luckily though while the masses were at the understaffed bar we managed to steal two seats just one row back from the front. We patiently waited for him to appear for about 40 minutes before his support act came on instead. He was very, very dark and had no problem highlighting the fact that he enjoyed bringing people down so Johnny could bring them up again.
