Angel of the North, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear

First stop off on the way to Newcastle was to see this beauty. 3 million people have visited the Angel of the North so far and it attracts 90,000 visitors a year. It's 65ft tall and towers over the passing traffic on the A1. In the photo Quiche is taking a picture of Andy, Nicki and Chris under the statue. I am taking a photo of him taking a photo of them from about 15ft away down the embankment.
