Today I visited Carlos Paz in Córdoba, Argentina and came across this interesting war memorial in the town square. The Falklands War (Spanish: Guerra de las Malvinas / Conflicto del Atlántico Sur), cost the Argentine Air Force 60 aircraft. Córdoba became the heart of the Argentina´s aviation industry when Fábrica Militar de Aviones (Military Aircraft Factory, FMA), was founded here in 1927. I think the statue was erected in 1998.
